Working principle
Dosing metering pumps are usually referred to as dosing pumps, most of which are positive displacement pumps. Such as gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, etc., in the swimming pool equipment industry, the precise measurement needs of the drug administration and the fluctuation amplitude of the flow pulse are generally not high, and diaphragm metering pumps are used. The diaphragm metering pump is driven by motor drive and electromagnetic drive, etc. The diaphragm metering pump is usually composed of a suction check valve, an outlet check valve, a diaphragm and a driving device.
The diaphragm metering pump mainly uses the driving mechanism to pull the opening and closing of the diaphragm to complete the suction and extrusion process of the liquid medicine.
- During operation, the driving device pulls the diaphragm apart, creating negative pressure in the diaphragm cavity. The liquid chlorine tablet is drawn into the diaphragm through the suction mouth, because the check valve at the discharge mouth prevents the fluid from entering the diaphragm chamber.
- Then, the driving device squeezes the diaphragm. Because the suction mouth is also a one-way valve, the liquid cannot flow back from the suction mouth at this time, and the liquid in the diaphragm cavity can only be pressed out from the outlet. In such a cycle, the liquid medicine is pressurized and output by the diaphragm metering pump.
- The pressure of the pool water distribution line is usually between 1.0-1.5Bar, and the working pressure of the dosing pump is higher than the pressure of the line it bets. The liquid pressure at the outlet of the diaphragm metering pump can generally reach 24kg/cm², and the resistance of the dosing pipeline can not affect its flow.
Installation position

However, the cost of such a drug pump and water quality monitoring instrument is higher.
